The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the design, implementation, customization, and maintenance of our Salesforce instance.

Position Description

The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the design, implementation, customization, and maintenance of our Salesforce instance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, translate them into scalable solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role interacts with the entire enterprise and is an integral part of the organization, dedicated to achieving client satisfaction, customer relationship management, revenue generation and long-term growth in line with the CAQH Vision and Mission.

This is a full-time, exempt, remote position and reports to the Director, Sales Enablement.

Specific Responsibilities

Salesforce Configuration and Customization:

  • Design, configure, and customize Salesforce to support business processes and workflows effectively.
  • Develop and maintain custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, process builder flows, and other Salesforce configurations.
  • Implement and manage Salesforce integrations with third-party applications and systems.
  • Stay updated on Salesforce releases and new features, evaluating their potential impact and implementing relevant enhancements.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Support:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Salesforce.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Salesforce users, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Drive user adoption through training sessions, workshops, and ongoing support initiatives.

Reporting and Dashboards:

  • Design and develop reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights into key performance metrics, sales trends, and business analytics.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver customized solutions that meet their needs.
  • Optimize report performance and data accuracy through efficient data modeling and query optimization techniques.
  • Provide training and support to users on report creation, dashboard navigation, and data visualization best practices.

Forecast, Revenue, and Pipeline Management:

  • Implement and maintain Salesforce functionality related to forecasting, revenue tracking, pipeline management, and compensation models.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to define forecasting methodologies, establish revenue targets, and monitor pipeline health.
  • Configure and customize Salesforce forecasting modules to align with the organization's sales processes and goals.
  • Analyze sales pipeline data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, providing actionable insights to sales teams and management.
  • Drive initiatives to improve forecast accuracy, revenue predictability, and sales pipeline efficiency through process enhancements and technology solutions.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within Salesforce.
  • Lead the evaluation and implementation of new Salesforce features and functionalities to enhance system capabilities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing Salesforce performance and scalability.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • The Salesforce Administrator will supervise a team of 1 analyst.
Experience
  • Five or more years of work experience in managing a salesforce sales cloud lightning instance, with a concentration on B2B revenue forecasting, reporting and dashboards, and sales team management.
  • Experience managing Salesforce platform integrations, HubSpot Marketing Hub, and related data transformation tools.
  • Deep experience with Microsoft Office tools, including advanced knowledge with Excel.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Salesforce certified Administrator required; Advanced Administrator and/or Sales Cloud Consultant certification, preferred.
  • HubSpot Marketing Hub experience preferred.
